Well last night may have been the last time my wife will be able to wear her Pebble-colored Victoria’s Secret Seamless Pantyhose…double run in the right leg. Damn The VS, back when we got them for 20 a pair, seemed expensive, but sure were the softest and best looking pantyhose she ever had. I guess it’s off to the more expensive Wolford brand. Any other suggestions from the panel of experts?

I was at the nurse’s house today.She was elegently dressed ..not wearing pantyhose..and a dream I had last night became true. I could not find any of her pantyhose in the bathroom. I realize that I have never posted before, and I feel badly that I didn’t take any time to introduce myself or anything. I promise that I’m not a troll or spammer, so please be gentle. I really need the advice of someone who might understand the situation, and I honestly don’t know where else to turn. My boyfriend has a pantyhose fetish. I personally love it and couldn’t be happier. I didn’t always know he had this fetish, though. Earlier this spring, we had some networking problems at home, and when I was going through the router logs, I happened upon some links with some interesting domain names. Now, I’m a little bit bothered about this. When we get out to the car, I express my concern that he wants a color so far from my own skin tone. I mean, I’m a white Irish-Catholic girl, and I’m about as pale as they come. I’ve always been of the “never wear pantyhose that don’t match your skin tone” school of thought. And frankly, I would never wear anything that didn’t match my skin tone out of the house. Sorry, but it’s a fashion faux pas. It also happens that I’m his only serious white girlfriend, so the first thing that’s running through my mind is “Okay, so he only wants me to wear this so that he can pretend I’m not white or what?” Now, he’s been with me 6 or 7 times longer than any previous relationship (and we’re getting married next month), but I’m still the lone white girl. Anyway, when I ask him about this, he says he’s never heard of this before, that you should match flesh-toned hose to your own skin color. He thought anyone could wear any shade, and it was just a color preference. Like my favorite color is green, or someone else’s favorite color is red, or whatever. Now if that’s the case, I am totally cool with it. But if the shade of the pantyhose is indicative of ethnicity preference, I’m going to be a little hurt, and I will feel really weird wearing them. I can’t stand the thought that he only wants me to wear them so he can pretend I’m something I’m not. He said that I don’t have to wear them (or anything else) if I don’t want to, he doesn’t want to make me feel uncomfortable, but he swears he didn’t realize this was a “pantyhose rule” among women. So guys, if you have a preference for pantyhose color, why is that? Is it just a “favorite color” kind of thing? Like my favorite color is green, so we have green dishes, and green towels, and green candles and all other kinds of stuff? (My boyfriend won’t turn me down if I’m wearing another color, by any means, but he does seem to prefer flesh tone colors to black or navy.) Or does the shade of pantyhose you prefer have anything to do with the ethnicity of the chicks you tend to “go for”? I LOVE wearing pantyhose, and I totally get off on my boyfriend loving it, but I have to admit that I’m feeling wierd about this. If anyone has any insight, I would be so appreciative if you’d share.
