Tights and hosiery fashion on tv making hose comeback
Seems like everytime I see daytime news or talk shows, they are fileld with hose and even promoting them. Just this week the Today show had 2 shows that featured tights fashions. One had Wolfrods with a fleece lining, anyone try these yet? Today Rachel Ray had a show on fashion do’s and don’ts..the one of the Don’ts was wearing short skirts without tights or hose. The on Oprah, the cast of Dream girls was one with all of them wearing hose, Beyonce was amazing in sheer beige with a VERY short dress. She’s lost 20 lbs and wow Amazing. Even oprah was wearing hose and she was just saying a year ago how much she hated them and that the style was dead. I think women have come to the same conclusions I knew they would after awhile. Number 1…Bare Leg look is VERY labor intensive. You have to shave constantly and use lots of creams and nobody has perfect legs. You can tan all you want, but varacose veins and skin blotches make a mess, the tanning cremes make a mess and look bad on really light skin. Secondly, the bare leg look at work with a nice skirt is trashy loking. It’s like a buisnessman coming to work in shirts and a tie, just doesn’t work and looks horrible. 3, Who wants to walk around in the winter with bare legs. I’ve heard women complain they were freezing …while wearing a dress and bare legs in freezing cold…uhhhh…duuhhhh Why would anyone wear bare legs in the winter??? That’s about as dumb as a guy running around with a speedo on in the winter. I’ve seen a LOT more hosiery on TV and out in public, mainly in the last couple weeks. There is a real big push lately on fashion. I’ve noticed nearly every store in the mall is a clothing store. Even Walmert is looking to up it’s quality of clothes to compete in the high end clothing market. Will be interesting to see what happens…it could soon be a hose lovers paradise again. Cheers Jody
