I stumbled upon an online fashion forum, and anytime a question was asked as to which legwear should be worn with which outfit, etc, it seemed like 50 of the responses were negative toward pantyhose. Not that that’s anything new, but the hatefulness in these responses was somewhat surprising. For example, a woman posted a question asking what hose/tights she should wear to her new job, there were actually those that told her she should quit her job if the company required her to wear hose, and referred to them as nazis Others were suggesting to skip the skirt, and just wear pants all the time to get around the hosiery requirement. Many offered the same lame excuses…said they serve no purpose, they’re uncomfortable, etc. I could never imagine women being this upset over any other garment. I don’t see bras and other items being met with so much disgust. There were some women who responded with positive answers. A few actually say they feel naked without them, but are reluctant to wear them because they’re afraid of being labeled out-of-style by their peers. Another woman said she used to hate them but since she started wearing better quality hose, she now LOVED wearing them If only she told 100 women, who in turn each told another 100 women, etc, we might see some change
